For all of you that are really wanting to get a glimpse on what being in the game development industry is like there is an event happening RIGHT NOW AT UTD!! Here is a snippet of information from Doug Hines of the Arts & Technology Student Association at UTD:
This weekend, October 13-15 (starting at noon on friday), the University of Texas at Dallas ATSA (Arts & Technology Student Association) is hosting an 84 hour game development event. During this time, we will be emulating a game development cycle from conception to Alpha. More information can be found at atsa.utdallas.edu or 3d-artists.net .
