IPod Shuffle I never expected to receive an Apple Ipod Shuffle for Christmas, but was pleasantly surprised to find it easy to use and an avenue to reawaken my interest in music.
Barely the size of a pack of gum, the Shuffle holds several hours of music that can be replayed in order or on shuffle. The only controls are start, pause, skip forward or skip backward and volume control. The cap comes off the end of the Shuffle revealing a USB port you plug directly into your computer. ITunes comes packaged with the IPod's software and has a very easy interface showing you how to either load music from your CD collection, or purchase music online. The Shuffle can be set to select music randomly from your music library or you can choose what to load. After loading into the Ipod, you simply unplug it from the computer and put on your headphones and press play. I have enjoyed loading my CD's into the Music Library and perusing new music to download and then becoming my own deejay by selecting different mixes for different listening experiences. The biggest downfall of the whole Ipod experience is wanting aftermarket products to enhance the experience and spending lots of money on downloaded tunes and dancing around to music only you can hear! |
