Subject: Bus Ride for TXMPA Lobby Day 2009 ( North Texas Region)
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this message is to invite you to join the North Texas community as we make our annual sojourn to Austin , Texas , for the Texas Motion Picture Alliance (TXMPA) Lobby Day 2009 at the Texas State Capitol. This communication is intended for interested stakeholders that would like to register for the bus that will transport our team from North Texas to Austin for the TXMPA Lobby Day activities.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Once a year, TXMPA organizes a day in which stakeholders from across
the state gather at the Texas State Capitol for a day of lobbying
activities. This year we anticipate 500+ participants to join us in
speaking with Senators and State Representatives. Our intent is to
provide the legislators first-hand evidence of the jobs that are
created as a result of work conducted in the television, film, video
game and animation fields of business. Our goal is simple; ask
legislators to vote "yes" for House Bill 873 and Senate Bill 605, i.e.
the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program legislation.
