Hey everyone, we are going to be creating some tutorials for our members and want to hear your thoughts. Check out the discussion boards over on our Facebook Page where we have set up a couple threads on this. Also, there is a poll at the right edge of the GUILD homepage for you to choose a software.

The GUILD is about to undergo some changes. We have been planning this for awhile now. In addition to a software upgrade there will be a new look and some new ideas will be bursting from our heads to yours.
We are always looking for:
- Artists - professional or student to showcase on our site (Sketches,2D Flash or other animation,3D Modeling, Video clips, whatever you've got we want to display it)
- Writers of content, it has to be done, please step up to the bat
- Submitters of upcoming events for the calendar both local and national
- Jobs, positions available and seeking positions
- Designers and/or developers, especially of tutorials, but origami birds from paper napkins are okay too

What Software Packages Should I Know?
One of the most common questions I get asked is “What Software Packages should I know?". My usual response is Photoshop and Illustrator. Photoshop and Illustrator are like reading and writing in the graphic design and animation industry. From there it really depends on what aspect of the industry you want to work in.
